A little bit about our Tees and the Printing process..
We were tired of seeing all (well, maybe not all) but a lot of boring tees in the store. Besides the random prints, the fabric was always the same. 100% Cotton - made somewhere else where really nobody cares about using pesticides and bad chemicals to produce them.
So we were looking for some more decent suppliers and of course found them in the Canada and the US. The Majority of our tees are made with bamboo fibers, organic cotton and dyed with non-toxic chemicals.
Did you that Bamboo does not require fertilizers or pesticides for cultivation and it grows rapidly and profusely without depleting the soil. Bamboo has a lower environmental impact than pesticide-laden conventional cotton and petroleum-derived nylon and polyester fabrics. Bamboo is also a superior fabric in terms of softness and functionality. Bamboo is inherently moisture wicking and anti-bacterial. Yep!
Because you know that we care about our nature - we are only using water based inks for our screen printing process. Unlike Plastisol Inks, which are not really environmentally friendly and smelly, our water based prints might be not as shiny and vibrant as the plastic stuff but they still look great and feel awesome :)
On top of that our whole printing process is aimed to be environmentally friendly. Not only that we use water based emulsions and inks, we also have a seven-stage grey water filtration system to reduce the waste particles to about 5microns - means it looks pretty clear when the water goes down the drain.
Wohoooo, I totally forgot someting. All our Tees are handprinted by us in Almonte/Ontario and limited to a certain number of print runs. That keeps our clothing line fresh and up to date and you can be sure that you will wear a unique item.
For our local followers... If it happens that you are in the Ottawa area - well, we have a store in Almonte/ON where you can feel and touch our super soft tees...
